Appearances[edit | edit source]
Final Fantasy[edit | edit source]
Evil Eye is a miniboss fought at Cavern of Ice, and later as a random encounter at Flying Fortress. It is a relatively dangerous foe as it has access to powerful abilities, such as Death, Break, and Kill, in addition to inflicting various status effects with Gaze, Slow, Silence, Sleep, and Hold. However, it lacks HP and therefore can be defeated relatively quickly.
Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-[edit | edit source]
Evil Eye is an enemy fought in the final dungeon, Banora Underground, at Howling Fang, in addition to Mission 8-3-4: EM Hell in the Mines, Mission 8-5-1: Treasure Info 1, and Mission 8-5-2: Treasure Info 2. It is relatively dangerous, having access to Thundaga and Eerie Sound Wave, but being exceptionally dangerous for its usage of Stop Gaze to inflict Stop. It is possible to interrupt it during its attacks, making it easier to deal with. While it is fought in the final dungeon, it is not the strongest of the Ahriman-family.
Final Fantasy X[edit | edit source]
Evil Eye is an enemy fought at Lake Macalania, with a slightly more powerful version being fought at the Al Bhed's Home and on the Fahrenheit shortly after the escape. It has high Evasion and Magic Defense, making it harder to hit and kill with characters other than Wakka, but has relatively low HP. It is weak to Fire-elemental attacks. It fights using a physical attack as well as Stare to inflict Confuse.
