Final Fantasy Record Keeper[]

Evanescence is a Burst Soul Break available to Penelo learned through the Zeus Mace (XII). When used in battle Evanescence deals eight White Magic Holy attacks to random targets, restores a moderate amount of HP to all allies, temporarily raise their magic and resistance a small amount, and grant Haste and Burst Mode to the user.

Evanescence changes the Attack and Defend commands to Divine Twist and Mending Dance commands respectively:

  • Divine Twist deals four White Magic Holy attacks to one target and temporarily raise the user's Mind stat a small amount.
  • Mending Dance restores a small amount of HP to all allies.

Both commands Divine Twist and Mending Dance are classified as White Magic.

Evanescence requires one Soul Gauge to cast, requires 30'000 AP to learn and when mastered, permanently grants a +10 bonus to Penelo's Mind stat.
