Episodes are special types of quests in Final Fantasy Dimensions II. Unlike default quests in the game, Episode quests can only be accessed from the character menu from the Quest option.
Each character has a specific number of episode available to them. Character episodes can only be unlocked by reaching a certain part in the game's main story and having said character learn a certain number of abilities. Once a player has completed a specific character's episode, they will be rewarded with extra stats for the character and may occasionally be rewarded with a Signet stone for the character to use in battle. Completing each character's respective final episode will yield one of the character's strongest Signet.
