Enthunder (エンサンダー, Ensandā?) is a recurring spell in the series. A supportive spell, it usually bestows the Enthunder status, which imbues a character's attacks with the Lightning element, or adds a small amount of additional Lightning-type damage to them.

Enthunder is an Enhancing Magic white magic spell. When under the effect of Enthunder, the user will deal slight Lightning magic damage following each melee attack. Ordinary melee attacks cannot have a specific element, and En-Spells do not change this.
For example, the player attacks the Eft for 30 damage, the Eft takes 12additional lightning damage.
Add lightning attribute to target's COM, RAV, SEN, or SAB attacks.
Enthunder is a Synergist spell that can be learned by Sazh (stage 4), Lightning (stage 7), and Hope (stage 7). It adds the lightning attribute to the target's Commando, Ravager, Sentinel, or Saboteur attacks. It costs 2 ATB and has a base duration of 180 seconds.
Enthunder is a Synergist ability exclusive to Paradigm Pack monsters. It costs 2 ATB and has a base duration of 200 seconds. It can be learned by Amanojaku (20), Luminous Puma (30), Mewmao (35), Miquiztli (11), Nanochu (31), Oannes (20), and Sazh (7), and can be infused into other Synergist monsters.

Enhanced Thunder is a passive ability that raises thunder ability damage. It can be used by Joult, Ramewl, Ramewl★, Ramuh★, Reynn (Lightning's Champion Jewel), and Zapt.
