Enemy Intel is the in-game bestiary of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, listing every enemy the player has fought, as well as the information they have unveiled, such as item drops and locations. Using Assess in battle unveils the hidden information at once and often gives a tip specific on that enemy. Enemies that have not been assessed will appear as ???.
Gathering Enemy Intel[]
The player will encounter several enemies that cannot be encountered outside the Chadley Combat Simulator. There are rare enemy types for specific enemies that only may be encountered after gathering enough World Intel from Combat Assignments in the region. These rare enemy types will only be fightable in the Combat Simulator after defeating it in the "normal world". Enemy Intel from "Summoning Materia Bosses" can be gathered in their respective fights in the Combat Simulator. Enemy Intel from bosses may only be gathered when encountering them in the story, so it is best to always have the Assess materia (or the accessory version of it) equipped.
The battle log section also has tags for different aspects of encounter history with a particular enemy, namely:
- Number Defeated
- Assessed
- Staggered
- Part Crippled
- Weakness Exploited
- Struck by Limit Break
Enemies and locations[]
In this list the enemies are sorted by their corresponding number within the Enemy Intel tab in-game. This list's purpose is to be an easy asset to look up a specific number to complete it easily (e.g. the player missing out on Enemy Intel for Enemy Number 087, i.e. the Mystic Dragon).
