Emperor Aevis is a dragon/plate wyrm-type enemy in Final Fantasy XII. One can be found in the eastern part of the Silverflow's End area of the Paramina Rift, accessible from the Spine of the Icewyrm area. Akin to the Wildsnake, only one can be found throughout the whole of Ivalice. It is one of the strongest monsters in the area. The Wyrm Carapace is more easily obtained from this enemy than the Twintania. Emperor Aevises are rare as only one spawns through the entirety of Paramina Rift. They have strong attack power and cast Blizzara magick.
They rarely drop the Hornito weapon.

- Called 'emperor' for the intricate pattern upon its wings, much resembling exquisite embroideries such as one might find upon an emperor's robe. Living mainly in deep ravines and gulches in mountainous terrain, their eyesight has deteriorated in the dark so that now they hunt primarily by their other senses. They sense much through their distinctive horn, which serves withal as a vicious weapon for the impaling of foes.
