Elyne is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. She appeared in the joint seasonal event of Valentione's Day and Little Ladies' Day in 2021.

Elyne is a great admirer of the Warrior of Light and inspired by the many tales of their exploits, she dreamed of becoming an adventurer to travel out of Twelveswood and see the sea. Elyne trained with spear and bow but did not have good results. Discouraged to follow her dream, Elyne asks her moogle friend, Kupka Kupp, to deliver a letter from her to the Warrior of Light. Kupka Kupp enlists the help of Warrior of Light and Astrid to help encourage Elyne to follow her dream. They make that a painting of the sea and prepare a perfume with flowers from La Noscea. Upon receiving the gift Elyne is excited but soon turns back to discouragement, she explains the reason for her lack of enthusiasm. After hearing the inspiring words of the Warrior of Light, Elyne improves her outlook.[1]
Wishing to accompany Kupka Kupp on his mission to deliver letters to the Songbirds in Ul'dah, Elyne asked the Warrior of Light to accompany her so her parents would not be worried and allow her to travel. After the airship arrives in Ul'dah, the party pays a visit to the royal seneschal at the Ruby Road Exchange. Astrid takes the opportunity that the Valentione's Day and Little Ladies' Day celebrations are happening on the same date and delivers a missive from Lisette de Valentione proposing to hold some sort of joint event. Elyne suggests that the Songbirds wear Valentione costumes, a proposal that is enthusiastically received by all involved. Astrid immediately returns to Gridania to make the necessary arrangements.[2]
The royal senescal asks the rest of the party to make a gift delivery of sweets to the patients in the children's ward of the Frondale's Phrontistery. Once delivered, Lady Aldiytha encourages Elyne to help distribute them, and Elyne and Kupka enjoy spending time with some newly friends. With the work completed, Kupka suggests that Warrior of Light return to the senescal and see if Astrid has arrived with the costumes. The senescal reports that Astrid has returned and is helping the Songbirds put on their new costumes. The Warrior of Light accompany Elyne to the stage and, after the performance, the three singers impart some words of wisdom to the would-be adventurer.[2]
Upon returning to Gridania, the party reports to Lisette, and Elyne thanks everyone effusively for making her dreams come true. Astrid and Kupka are also grateful for the experience, learning that there is more to being an emissary than anyone imagined. Satisfied with the growth of her ward, Lisette assures everyone that Valentine's Day is far from over.[2]
Valentione's Day 2022[]
Elyne continued her training to become an adventurer. Elyne consulted the Warrior of Light to write a letter to Kupka Kupp thanking him for his support and for always encouraging her to follow her dream. The letter was delivered by Pukty Piko who also brought a reply letter from Kupka Kupp.[3]
