Elm Gigas is an enemy fought in the Game Boy Advance and later remakes of the game at Hellfire Chasm and Whisperwind Cove. Despite appearing much later than the Hill Gigas, they are of no threat to the player.
Final Fantasy V[edit | edit source]
Elm Gigas is an enemy fought around the Library of the Ancients in the Merged World, using Left Jab and Aeroga to attack the player. It is a semi-strong enemy when first fought, but is otherwise not a difficult foe to deal with.
Final Fantasy Dimensions[edit | edit source]
Elm Gigas is an enemy fought at Mt. Rusalka, and is always fought alone. It attacks with a regular physical attack and its Whack ability, which can inflict Confusion to its target.

Gigas is a popular term for races of giants in fantasy games. Gigas is a Greek word meaning "giant," originally used to describe the race of Gigantes in Greek mythology and is used in the scientific name, as the specific epithet, of hundreds of species of animals and dozens of plant species to denote their size.
