I'm the newest member of the Turks, Elena. Thanks to what you did to Reno, we're short on people.
Elena
Elena is a female member of the Turks in Final Fantasy VII. She is a young woman with short blonde hair and brown eyes.
Story
Before Crisis -Final Fantasy VII-
Elena was a high school student whose father was a teacher in the Shin-Ra Military Academy. Furthermore, her older sister was a member of the Turks. Though she resented her sister for outperforming her in their status, a later encounter with the Turks convinced her to join the group and follow her sister's footsteps.
Final Fantasy VII
Elena is the newest recruit, being appointed to the Turks after Reno sustained injuries battling AVALANCHE in Midgar. Elena is naive, impetuous and somewhat overeager, and Reno often has to rein her in. She takes her job much more seriously than do Reno and Rude, but she seems to be worse at it than either of them, having various slips in professionalism, such as when she inadvertently revealed the Turks' mission to Cloud and the others at the Mithril Mine. She also has a crush on Tseng and holds Cloud's party accountable for the injuries he suffered from Sephiroth's attack while investigating the Temple of the Ancients, which left him disabled until long after the storyline of Final Fantasy VII was over. You only fight Elena once in the storyline of Final Fantasy VII, in the Midgar Subway on Disc 2, and you can even choose not to do this fight, you can refuse it, therefore you can go through the game not meeting Elena in battle at all.
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
Elena appears briefly in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, wherein she is voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi. Her role is much less prominent than that of her partners, Reno and Rude. She spends most of the movie off-camera recovering from being tortured by Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo after retreving Jenova's head from the Northern Crater. Later on, she and Tseng show up just in time to save Rufus from falling to his death, and at the end talking with her comrades as Rufus' Geostigma is washed away.
Battle
As a member of the Turks, she fights along with her partners, Reno and Rude.
