The elementalist calls on spirits of nature to lend her strength.
Description
The Elementalist (精霊使い, Seireitsukai?) (Shaman in some translations) job class is available to viera in Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift. They are similar to Red Mages, since they equip rapiers and use the elements to damage and inflict status ailments on the foes or heal party members. However, they can only target one foe or party member at time with their magick, with the exception of White Flame. Elementalists' strength is higher than most mage classes, so they will not be heavily weakened when silenced.
The Elementalist has taken quite a blow since she no longer has Elemental Shift, which changed the target's weakness and resistance to a certain element randomly. They have average HP, MP, and Speed, strong Magick, but low Defense and also Resistance, surprisingly. One of the Gifted, Ljda, is an Elementalist who teaches the skill that is named after her, it charms foes both monsters and races, as Ljda's gift is having monsters obey her whims.

- Note that White Flame and Earth Heal are not Holy-based healing spells, and as such will NOT hurt undead monsters.
