Elementa is a magic ability for Lightning in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, serving as the first upgrade of the Element spell. It deals magic damage in all four elements—fire, ice, wind and lightning.

Elementa Lv. ★ is the locked action for the Spira's Summoner garb.
Elementa can only be obtained as a drop from the Arcangeli and Arcangeli Ω enemies on the Final Day. The normal Arcangelis have a 10% chance of dropping the ability, while the Arcangeli Ω will always drop the ability with a 100% chance. The enemies drop the different levels of the ability on the following days and difficulties:

Mechanics[]
The spell deals magic damage of all elements to its target and all surrounding foes, consisting of ten hits. The level 1 Elementa spell has an ATB cost of 40, an attack power of 6.5, an attack rating of 0.13 (1.30 in total), a Stagger Power rating of B, and a Stagger Time rating of E. When fully upgraded, Elementa Lv.5 can have an ATB cost of 25, an attack power of 0.89 (8.90 in total), a Stagger Power of B, and a Stagger Time of E.
The ability can also be used by all Arcangeli enemies.
