A fiend morphed to colossal size by Cactuar needles. Magic is its specialty. It commands a wide array of spells and has high resistance to magical attacks.
Scan
The Elder Zurvan is an enemy from Final Fantasy X-2. Using a Lunar Curtain or casting Shell will go a long way in protecting against its magic attacks, and having elemental-resisting abilities or equipment will also help. All in all, it is not a difficult enemy to defeat at the point in the game that the player encounters it. Physical attacks are the party's best option against this foe.

Fiend Tale
In the Fiend Tale endings, one notable Elder Zurvan had sworn a vendetta on O'aka XXIII for the act of his great-grandfather, O'aka XX, stealing the treasure sphere that belong to the Imp's tribe. Across generations, Elder Zurvan got outwitted by O'aka's grandfather and father before he went after him. Though he obtained the sphere after stripping O'aka of his clothes on the Mt. Gagazet once he cornered him, Elder Zurvan is tricked into surrendering his sphere to who he thought was O'aka XX but was his great-grand son in disguise.
