Elder Staff (長老の杖 or ちょうろうのつえ, Chooroo no Tsue?) is a recurring staff in the Final Fantasy series.

The Elder Staff is a high-ranked staff that provides +85 Attack, +6 Mind, and can cast Cura when used as an item. It can be equipped by the Onion Knight, White Mage, Devout, and Sage, and can only be obtained in Eureka.
Final Fantasy XI[]
Elder Staff is a staff that provides 55 damage and 402 delay. It deals 8.21 damage per second and accumulates 103 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 75 Scholar. It is dropped from any NM in Nyzul Isle Investigation and a 100% drop from HNMs on Floor 100 depending on Runic Disc holder's job.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
The Elder Staff is a 
Two-handed Thaumaturge's Arm for 
Black Mages. It is a possible reward from the quest 
When Yugiri Met the Fraternity, and can otherwise be purchased with tokens obtained from the repeatable quest 
Primal Focus.

The weapon is a level 1 Staff that provides +16 Attack, +21 Bravery, and EX Mode Duration +5%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 8,810 gil, Mage's Staff, and Alraune Twig.
