Elaisse Poole is a non-playable character from Final Fantasy XIV. She is an experienced merchant and the leader of the Jeweled Crozier of Ishgard.

Elaisse's husband was a knight before he passed. They had two daughters who followed in their mother's footsteps, and became merchants.[1]
When Alphinaud Leveilleur, Tataru Taru and the Warrior of Light arrive in Ishgard, Elaisse welcomes them to the Jeweled Crozier's markets saying that the merchants there do not judge the clients' backgrounds as long as they can pay.[2]
Elaisse asked the Warrior of Light for help to capture a thief was stealing money from the shops along the Jeweled Crozier. Following the trap set by Elaisse, the Warrior of Light discovers that the thief was a girl named Osaulie. Although Osaulie has run away, Elaisse suspects that she has learned her lesson and will no longer be a nuisance to Jeweled Crozier.[3]
After opening a store, Elde made donations to Elaisse. Seeing that Elde planned to sell quality products to anyone regardless of their financial status, Elaisse warns her to be careful not to make Gerhardt an enemy. Once the store is successful, Elde made another offering to the Mercantile Guild and asked for Elaisse's help in getting contacts with a noble. Elaisse cannot help, but recommends asking Gerhardt for advice.[4]
After the Dragonsong War comes to an end, Elaisse says that Ishgard's return to the Eorzean Alliance, as well as the founding of the Houses of Lords and Commons, has had a major impact on the way Ishgard is governed. This has breathed new life into the Jeweled Crozier, causing merchants to begin to glimpse opportunities in the foreign market.[5][6]
During the restoration of the Firmament, Lord Francel sent a missive to Elaisse. Since they had many foreigners helping with the restoration project, the Skysteel Manufactory equipment was unfamiliar to them. So Francel asked for Elaisse's help so that the merchants of Ishgard could assist in acquiring heavy machinery of foreign make. Elaisse agreed to help the request.[7]

Triple Triad[]
Elaisse is a NPC available for Triple Triad matches added in patch 3.1. She is located at The Pillars (7.8, 10.8). To challenge her the player needs to complete the sidequest 
Caught in the Act.
The matches have the Match Rules Chaos and Plus. The possibles rewards for defeating her are 
Archaeornis Card and Gibrillont Card.
