Egg Hunt Battle! Revenge of the Bunberry was a seasonal event in Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. A component of the Spring 2025 campaign and the 1.5 Year Anniversary, this event is also a follow-up to 2024's "A Tea Party & Festive Eggs".

Summary

Much like a Critical Threat event, players challenged the Bunberry, a Tonberry in a rabbit coat, and his Easter egg grangalan allies at progressive Solo and Co-op power levels. This event awarded egg currency and Flower Crowns, for exchange. Featured weapons included Angeal's Blade of the Hunt and Cid's Lance of the Hunt.

Featured draws

All Stamp Card draws were issued in volumes, with Easter gear sets from 2024 and 2025 issued in pairs per volume. Volume 1 introduced Zack's Rabbit Butler costume with Sword of the Hunt. All draws from this event and throughout April 2025 offered a chance for Zack's Durandal Ultimate Weapon.

Behind the scenes

This event, along with its associated escalation challenge, was originally supposed to start April 2, 2025, but was delayed by one day due to a fault encountered at the last second prior to release. All players were compensated in the amount of 1000 Blue Crystals for the unplanned delay.
