Base direct damage formula:
Razed Earth damage over time formula:

Damage over time (DoT) effects deal damage every server tick, or 3 seconds, independent of the effect's duration. This means that the effect may deal damage anywhere between 0 and 3 seconds after it is applied, and in 3 second intervals afterwards. In addition, DoT areas deal an extra tick of damage on creation independent of their timer.

Use[]

Earthen Fury is Titan-Egi's Enkindle action, dealing heavy area of effect (AoE) to nearby enemies, and granting Titan-Egi Razed Earth Razed Earth, dealing additional damage over time in the target area. Unlike normal DoT effects, Razed Earth's damage is caused by a stationary effect in the target area rather than a debuff, and enemies can avoid taking damage by moving out of the area. This area is maintained by the Razed Earth buff; should the buff be removed or Titan-Egi be dismissed for any reason, the DoT area will immediately vanish.

Earthen Fury boasts the best combination of area of effect and potency of the Enkindles, having the same AoE Garuda-Egi's Aerial Blast Aerial Blast and the highest total potency over Ifrit-Egi's Inferno Inferno by virtue of the extra damage tick DoT areas provide. Despite this, it is arguably the worst Enkindle to use as in order to get the full potency out of Razed Earth the Summoner must leave Titan-Egi on the field for its duration. During this time Titan-Egi's lower DPS will offset any gains provided by Earthen Fury.
