The EXP Boost Mirajewel, found in the post-game bonus dungeon EX Dungeon A, applies a 5% increase in distributed EXP for all battle participants when equipped. Playing on a New Game+ file in the Maxima version allows the player to obtain another EXP Boost Mirajewel: when equipped by both siblings, the bonus EXP intake is increased to 10%.
Several pieces of equipment offer EXP +% bonuses, though are more commonly found on the Chocobo accessories, namely Chocobo Down (EXP +20%), Chocobo Wing (EXP +50%), and Chocobo Feather (EXP +100%), all with a 30% chance of breaking after battle. The weapon Excalibur II also offers EXP +100%, but considering that the player does not get this weapon, nor can use it, until a character reaches Level 99, it is mainly pointless except for increasing the effect of EXP to HP/Bravery/EX Force.

RoF Smart Valor Icon Support abilities that give extra Experience Points have been known in the Final Fantasy series by various names, such as Level Up (レベルアップ, Reberu Appu?), Level Lust, Exp Up, EXP Up, Double EXP, Knowledge to Power, Accrue EXP, Smart Valor, and Gained Exp UP.
