Trivia

  • Dusk and his sister are the third pair of twins who are both playable in a Final Fantasy game, the first two sets being Palom and Porom of Final Fantasy IV, then Edgar Roni Figaro and Sabin Rene Figaro of Final Fantasy VI.
  • Dusk and Alba are, in a number of ways, similar to Palom and Porom. The two both know magic from the beginning of the game, and are eventually revealed to have come from Mysidia. Dusk is most like Porom, having a talent for White Magic and being the no-nonsense counterpart to the irreverent Alba. However, a flashback in Mysidia reveals that he was very much like Palom in his youth, including a disrespectful attitude towards the Elder, and having to be fetched by his sibling.
  • A dominant color for Dusk's job class sprites is white.
