Duran is a unit and summonable vision in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. He is one of the six heroes in Trials of Mana and its 2020 remake. He is obtainable via the collaboration event with the Mana series.
An aspiring swordsman from the kingdom of Valsena, Duran was orphaned when his father, Loki, left home to hunt down the malevolent Dragon Lord as his mother was in the final days of a severe illness. He would later be adopted with his sister Wendy by their aunt Stella. Duran boasts that he comes from a long heritage of sword masters, and has trained for much of his young life to become a knight, as Loki had been. He is suddenly tested when the balance of mana power shifts and the kingdom of Altena, led by the mysterious Crimson Wizard, begins an invasion for control of the region's Mana Stone. Duran is on guard duty as the Wizard breaks through and shoves him aside, nearly killing him with his magic. From this point forward, Duran steels his resolve to acquire the power to beat the Crimson Wizard. Little does he know that he will soon play an integral part in the conflict over mana power swirling around him.
