Father Duane
Father Duane (デュエイン, Dyuein?) is a minor character in Vagrant Story. He is a member of the Order of the Crimson Blades, and the brother of Father Grissom.
Story[]
Father Duane is sent by the cardinal to Leá Monde along with the Crimson Blades in pursuit of Sydney and the other Müllenkamp cultists. Many of the Crimson Blades lose their lives during the search and Duane shows little consideration for this, saying it "cannot be helped".
Duane catches Ashley Riot eavesdropping on his brother and Guildenstern talk about the cardinal's plans of seeking immortality and battles him. Despite being capable of using sorcery and warlock magic, he and his two subordinates are no match for the Riskbreaker and get killed.
Duane's death makes his brother Grissom pursue Ashley relentlessly, risking his own life in search of vengeance.

Duane is a fought as a boss in the Town Center. He is accompanied by Bejart and Sarjik, two soldiers under his command.
