Drusilla Varus is non-player character in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, she appears in the Reaper questline as the job mentor. Lemures, an underground organization devoted to helping Garleans who are living in exile in Eorzea.
History[]
Early life[]

Drusilla and Rullus.
Drusilla was born in Lapis Manalis, a remote village in Garlemald that protected the tradition of the reapers.[1]
According to the Reapers' teachings, it was their duty to free their countrymen from corrupt and power-hungry tyrants. During the Garlean campaign Drusilla's grandfather, Rullus, was one of those who stood against Emperor Solus zos Galvus. Rullus sneaked into the imperial palace in an attempt to assassinate the Emperor, but when he returned, Rullus was nervous and the color of his hair had changed to a pale white. After this Rullus sought more power, and little by little he gave himself more to the voidsent behind his avatar. In that moment of weakness, his voidsent avatar consumed him and turned him into Orcus. Twenty years ago,[1] he killed his own family and Drusilla was the only survivor, albeit at the cost of his own empty avatar, which was consumed by Orcus in her place.
Since the Emperor did not care for the families of those who tried to end his life, Drusilla fled Garlemald and wandered for years until she settled in Eorzea. She then formed the Lemures and began to seek out and support other Garleans who are living in exile.[2]
Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker[]
Drusilla meets the Warrior of Light when she goes to collect a debt from Jijilyo. In exchange for forgiving the debt, she asks the Warrior of Light to visit the Lemures headquarters. There, Drusilla asks the Warrior of Light to help her kill a voidsent, for which she trains him as a Reaper.
After the training, Drusilla decides that the Warrior of Light is ready to face Orcus. Arnegis and Hermin, who were searching for clues of Orcus, speak of a missing woodcutter in the Central Shroud, and a man with pale skin and burning eyes seen nearby that matches the description of Orcus. However, the clues led to a different voidsent.[3] Returning to the investigations, eventually the news that Arnegis' body has been found by the Brass Blades reaches the Lemures. Drusilla sets off for Erralig's Burial Chamber to verify the corpse. After confirming that it was indeed Arnegis, Drusilla says that the Lemures will pay all the costs for him to be properly buried.
Drusilla realizes that the voidsent found in the Black Shroud was one of Orcus' minions and that Arnegis' death was a warning. Orcus then appears on the scene saying that he will devour Drusilla's new family and disappears soon after.[4]

Orcus kidnapping Drusilla.
The Warrior was asked to inquire the member of Lemures about Orcus's appearance as he had been hunting Drusilla's underlings. After saving a couple from Orcus's voidsents, the Warrior returned to the headquarters where Orcus appeared yet again and kidnapped Drusilla to stoke the Warrior's wrath.[5]
Eventually, a letter written with Drusilla's blood arrived in the headquarters. Orcus challenged the Warrior into a duel in the Dusk Vigil. Grabbing Drusilla's scythe, they departed. During the duel between the Warrior of Light and Orcus, Orcus empowered himself. While he was gloating, the Warrior threw Drusilla's scythe back to her and they fought Orcus together. He was defeated and Drusilla finally killed him.
Back at Lemures headquarters, though Drusilla still mourns Arnegis and believes herself unfit to lead for having dragged the family into her personal vendetta, the Lemures will hear none of it. They remain loyal to her for having saved their lives and giving them a place to call home. Taking their words to heart, Drusilla declares that the Lemures will no longer be defined by their past ties, but by their shared future. She then welcomes Warrior of Light anew to her family, to the enthusiastic approval of all. With the Lemures poised to enjoy relative peace and quiet for a time, Drusilla bids Warrior of Light farewell.[6]
In the aftermath of the Final Days, Drusilla has no immediate plans to return to Garlemald.[1]
Characteristics[]
Appearance[]
Drusilla is a tall dark skinned Garlean with white hair and purple eyes and wears silver jewelery to cover her third eye. She wears Augmented Crysatrium Gloves of Aiming, and Augmented Crystarium Coat of Aiming,
Augmented Torrent Tights of Scouting dyed wine red,
Urban Boots, and wears a
Lakeland Necklace of Fending.
Personality[]
Drusilla is a confident, rugged woman unafraid of threats by those who mistreat her and her family. She is very observant of others, able to tell of the Warrior of Light's resilience based off of their gaze and appearance alone. She is blunt and speaks directly to the point, especially when it comes to those taking up the dangerous path of the reaper arts. Because of her past she has experience through hardship and after losing those close to her, she became calculative and careful in her actions. As Garleans are hated amongst most Eorzeans, she knows of the hardships those of her race face living in exile and built the Lemures to support those who want to live in peace.
As the leader of her family, she keeps tabs on those close to her and supports her fellow exiles through the Lemures. In return they give her information and is respected and trusted by those in her care. She's an expert of the reaper arts, considered one of the best from her village, able to teach those the skills necessary to kill voidsent.
Gameplay[]
Drusilla appears in the second half of the solo instance of The Killing Art where she assists the player in combat by taking care of voidsent enemies alone while they deal with Orcus. She fights as a reaper but can't use any skills related to summoning her avatar.
