PvP[]

In PvP Dreadwyrm Tranceresets the Tri-disaster Tri-disaster recast and enables the use of Deathflare Deathflare. Once Dreadwyrm Trance ends, it is replaced by Firebird Trance Firebird Trance. The two Trances share their now 30 second recast.

Dreadwyrm and Firebird Trance both require a full Aetherflow Gauge to use. While Dreadwyrm Trance may initially seem underwhelming for the cost, Deathflare is one of the most powerful AoE abilities available to any discipline in PvP, and using Dreadwyrm Trance is necessary to access the powerful Firebird Trance as well.

The Trances must compete with Fester Fester, Painflare Painflare, and Bane Bane for Aetherflow, though the latter abilities use only a single unit. Aetherflow can be gathered fairly quickly in PvP using Energy Drain Energy Drain, and Tri-disaster generates it as well. The Summoner PvP rotation generally involves balancing the use of the single-Aetherflow abilities while ensuring the Summoner has a full gauge ready to use the Trances on cooldown.
