==Mechanics==

The Dragoon school is focused on striking enemies with [[Jump (ability)|Jump]] attacks, where the user leaps into the air and descends some time later to deal damage. This makes the Dragoon school a bit lacking in damage potential, since jump attacks still have landing time on top of the standard charge time. However, there are abilities that cause Jump attacks to land instantly, and there is the Rank 5 ability Sky Grinder which has no air time but still deals "jump" damage. Most Dragoon abilities are wind or lightning-elemental, with the exceptions of Aqua Corkscrew, which is dedicated to [[Kimahri Ronso/Record Keeper|Kimahri]], and Ice Jump.

Dragoon is an ability type in Final Fantasy Record Keeper, and part of the Other category.

Mechanics

The Dragoon school is focused on striking enemies with Jump attacks, where the user leaps into the air and descends some time later to deal damage. This makes the Dragoon school a bit lacking in damage potential, since jump attacks still have landing time on top of the standard charge time. However, there are abilities that cause Jump attacks to land instantly, and there is the Rank 5 ability Sky Grinder which has no air time but still deals "jump" damage. Most Dragoon abilities are wind or lightning-elemental, with the exceptions of Aqua Corkscrew, which is dedicated to Kimahri, and Ice Jump.

Unlocking access to Rank 6 Dragoon abilities requires the individual character to be at Level 65 and have their second level cap broken, unlocking their Record Spheres. The player can then use Dragoon Motes to unlock access to Rank 6 Dragoon. Note that only characters with innate access to Rank 5 Dragoon will have the Empowered Sphere that includes access to Rank 6 Dragoon; characters who must use their Record Spheres to access Rank 5 have no Empowered Sphere for Dragoon and cannot access Rank 6.
