Dragon Gloves (ドラゴンのこて, Doragon no Kote?), also known as Dragooon, is a recurring armor in the series.

Final Fantasy IV[edit | edit source]

Dragon Gloves is a high-ranked gloves that provides 9 Defense, 6 Magic Defense, -10 Evasion, 3 Magic Evasion, and resistance to Fire, Ice, and Lightning-elemental attacks as well as attacks from Dragon-type enemies. It can be found at Lunar Subterrane or dropped from Red Dragon. It can be equipped by Cecil, Kain, and Cid. In the 3D remakes, it no longer carries the -10 Evasion penalty.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[edit | edit source]

Dragon Gloves provides 9 Defense, 6 Magic Defense, -10% Evasion, 3% Magic Evasion, is strong against dragon attacks, and resists all elements. It can be found at Subterrane or dropped from Red Dragon, and can be equipped by Cecil, Kain, Cid, Ceodore, Luca, and Golbez.

Dragon Gloves is a level 79 gauntlets that provides +34 Bravery, +55 Defense, and is 1/3rd of the "Whisper of the Wyrm" set. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 24,860 gil, Thief Gloves, Wyrm Carapace x3, and Quickstrike Crystal.

Dragon Gloves is a level 60 gauntlets that provides +34 Bravery, +60 Defense, and is 1/3rd of the "Whisper of the Wyrm" set. It can be obtained from the shop by trading 132,880 gil, Gold Armlet, and Giant's Dream x5.
