Lightning damage against all opponents
Description
Dragon Fang is a battle item item in Final Fantasy VII that deals moderate Lightning-elemental damage to all enemies. Only two exist in the entire game.

Mechanics[]
Using the Dragon Fang does not take the user's stats into account in determining damage. The final damage is calculated as :

The damage is then modified as per the enemy's resistance to Lightning-elemental damage; i.e. double if the enemy is weak to Lightning, half of they resist, 0 if they nullify Lightning, or healing if they absorb Lightning.
Battle items bypass target's Reflect status.

The Dragon Fang can deal a decent amount of damage to all enemies, more if they are weak to Lightning. However, only two exist in the entire game, one from defeating Schizo at Gaea's Cliff and the other from winning it from the Submarine Game at Gold Saucer's Wonder Square, so the player will not get to utilize it as much as they would like. Even with the W-Item duplication bug, at the point W-Item is available, the Dragon Fang's power will have fallen off drastically.
