Double Black Magic (Ｗ黒魔法, W Kuro Mahō?), also known as Dbl Blk and Dual Black Magic, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
Fusoya and Golbez learn the Band ability Double Black Magic when fighting Zeromus's Malice, which acts similarly to Twincast. When used, Double Black Magic has a chance of using Twin Firaga, Twin Blizzaga, Twin Thundaga, or Twin Meteor.
Final Fantasy IX[]
Dbl Blk is Vivi's ability while in Trance, which allows him to cast two black magic spells consecutively. Casting the two spells still drain his Trance gauge independently and expend the normal MP for both spells.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II[]
The ability hits all enemies twice with a Water elemental attack. Inflicts continuous damage to all enemies.

Description
Appearing alongside Dualcast, Dual Black Magic is an active special ability that costs 0 MP to cast and allows the user to cast any Black Magic spell twice in the very same turn Dual Black Magic is used. However, while ability itself does not have a MP cost, the spell that is used twice will drain the caster's MP. For example, using Firaga (which costs 20 MP to cast) twice will cost 40 MP. Currently, it can be learned by Vivi (level 60, 4★*3★ in the Japanese version), Arc (level 80, 5★), and Exdeath (level 80, 6★).
It can be learned by the currently Japanese-exclusive units Victoria (level 1, 6★), Shantotto (level 1, 5★), Trance Terra (level 1, 5★), Sakura (level 1, 3★), the Emperor (level 80, 5★), and Dark Fina/Summer Dark Fina (level 94, 6★).
