Battle[edit | edit source]
Doorbull has high HP and uses two physical and two magical attacks. They are not immune to statuses, not even to Berserk, even if it doesn't have an attack specified to use when it is berserked. Instead, it will attempt to use an attack that costs 65,335 MP until the end of the battle.
Strategy[edit | edit source]
Doorbull's high HP warrants the use of various magic or Limit Breaks to defeat them. Status attacks are effective as it is not immune to anything. Due to this, using Mini is also advisable, as it is rendered virtually harmless.
It is advisable to not use Vincent's Galian Beast Limit Break, as his Beast Flare ability will heal the Doorbull. Being unable to control Vincent in this state makes it hard to defeat the Doorbull before Vincent heals it back to full health.

Etymology[edit | edit source]
The enemy's Japanese name appears to be a pun on the English words "double" (ダブル, daburu?) and "bull". Though rather than use the simple katakana form of "bull" (ブール, būru?) it uses "ブゥル (būru?) which would have the same pronunciation; and rather than use the (ダ, da?) kana, it uses ドァ?. This caused confusion in the localization, as if it were using full-sized kana it would be the Japanese word for "door" (ドア, doa?).
