Dr. Donovan is a minor character who appears in Final Fantasy VII Remake: Picturing the Past. He was a doctor in his mid-thirties during the events of the novel. He was described as being thin and having sunken eyes, and not looking particularly healthy despite his profession.[1]
Donovan had been in Mideel for three years by the time Lonny arrived for his investigation.[2] Lonny arrived and showed him a picture of Geddie Bach, who the doctor could not find in his medical records. He did, however, find Glen Reiner, a Shinra soldier who had been admitted to the clinic fifteen years prior for a torn ligament in his right ankle and Type III mako poisoning. Reiner was the only out-of-town patient to recieve a medical exam in the past twenty years. Donovan recognized that Lonny's invesigation had not been sanctioned by Shinra, albeit with the understanding that, if questioned, the narrator snuck in and Donovan was unaware.[3]
