Dolce is a flan-type enemy in Final Fantasy XV fought in the Daurell Caverns and Steyliff Grove mazes.

Dolce only uses physical attacks. It slaps the party with its stretchy arms and lunges at targets. Though some of its attacks can be blocked and parried, this does no damage as dolce is immune to all physical attacks. It absorbs fire, but is weak to ice, lightning and light.
Strategy[]
Because of dolce's immunity to all conventional weapons, including the royal arms, magical attacks must be used instead. Elemancy and the Ring of the Lucii are effective, as is Ignis's Libra Elementia and Prompto's Gravisphere. Noctis is the party member best suited for using magic, so the player can equip him with accessories and attires that boost his spellcasting; the Ardyn's Ensemble attire from completing Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ardyn is especially good, as it both boosts Magic power and absorbs Darkness damage.
Etymology[]
Dolce is Italian for "sweet, soft, mild".
