Each playable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia has a victory pose they perform at the the end of a battle.
While most characters in the main series from Final Fantasy VII onward perform their signature pose from their original game, characters during the 2D era of the series are given unique poses for the first time.
List of victory poses[]
Characters that previously appeared in the Dissidia series retain their original victory pose from past installments, either using their victory pose from the PlayStation Portable games or Dissidia Final Fantasy NT with minor alterations.
Characters from the 3D era of the series use their original pose, while characters from the 2D era have an entirely new pose, some of which incorporates their official artwork by Yoshitaka Amano.
Final Fantasy[]
- Warrior of Light holds his sword up in the air before lowering it to his chest.
- Garland spins his greatsword twice in the air before thrusting it with both hands into the ground.
Final Fantasy II[]
- Firion slashes his sword before twirling it back into his sheathe and placing his hands on his hip.
- Maria puts her bow away, flicks her hair back and stands with arm placed on her hip.
- Leon slashes his sword, then twirls and throws it into the ground before crossing his arms.
- The Emperor levitates and releases his rod, which floats in front of him, before he sits with his legs crossed and leans his head on his arm, as if sitting on a throne.
- Guy pumps his left fist twice before resting his weapon on his right shoulder.
- Leila slashes her dagger and rests her right hand on her hip.
- Minwu swipes his staff before sending it and his shield away and crossing his arms.
Final Fantasy III[]
- Onion Knight jumps about, throws his sword and balances it on the tips of his fingers.
- Cloud of Darkness floats upside-down and spins right-side up, ending with its arms open and its head looking up with its eyes closed.
- Desch slashes his sword twice in a cross fashion, then places his left hand on his hip.
- Xande levitates his rod and makes it twirl in front of himself before taking it and moving his left arm forward.
Final Fantasy IV series[]
Nearly all characters have the same victory poses from the 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV and the 3D version of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
- Cecil has a victory pose for both his Dark Knight and Paladin forms.
- As a Dark Knight, Cecil kneels down before turning and slashing his greatsword, his back facing the camera.
- As a Paladin, Cecil lifts his greatsword in the air before twirling and slashing it to his side.
- Edge does a backflip, jumps with one of his daggers in the air and places it on his shoulder.
- Yang stretches his arms to the side and bows with a Wushu greeting.
- Kain spins his spear around to the side and stands in his iconic pose.
- Palom spins and jumps, raises his hand, then places both hands on his hips as he looks up.
- Rydia pumps her hands, takes a spin and holds her whip to the side.
- Rosa dusts off her cape, and holds her bow over her heart.
- Golbez floats down before stepping forward and crossing his hands.
- Porom twirls, pumps her hands, then moves her staff to the side.
- Edward wipes his forehead and dusts off his clothes.
- Ceodore slashes his sword twice then and fist pumps with his left hand.
- Ursula spins once, jumps and lands in a fighting pose.
- Fusoya places his weapon in front of him and swipes it to the side.
- Leonora puts her hands together then bows.
Final Fantasy V[]
- Bartz slashes his sword, puts it away, then places his hands on his hips.
- Galuf puts his greatsword away and pats his back with one hand on each side before putting his hand on his waist.
- Faris slashes her dagger three times before posing in a battle stance.
- Krile jumps, twirling herself and her staff around before bringing it behind her as she poses.
- Lenna puts away both her arrow and bow in each hand before lowering and putting her hands together.
- Gilgamesh thrusts his arms out, then performs a kabuki pose.
- Exdeath throws his cape behind him and makes his sword spin in front of him, ending with one hand on the sword and the other on his side.
- Dorgann slashes his sword, puts it away and leans slightly forward.
- Kelger raises his sword, then points it forward.
- Xezat sheathes his weapon, sending it away, and folds his arms behind his back.
Final Fantasy VI[]
- Terra floats onto the ground, places her hand on her chest, and stares upward.
- Shadow slowly raises his arms before crossing them.
- Setzer spins around before bowing.
- Sabin slashes his arms across before bowing his head down.
- Cyan flips and puts his katana away in other hand before bowing with a hand gesture.
- Edgar points his spear down as he swipes his hair before shaking his head with his arms raised out.
- Celes slashes her greatsword before spinning it to the side and thrusting into the ground with her arms on the pommel as she poses to the side.
- Kefka spins hysterically before floating on his side with one hand on his head, one hand scratching his behind and his leg scratching the other leg.
- Relm spins her brush in a circular fashion before flicking it, revealing a circular rainbow trail made from it.
- Locke thrusts one of his daggers into the ground before casually resting on the floor.
- Gau jumps into a backward roll flip before landing and raising his hand triumphantly whilst in his feral stance.
- Leo twirls his sword into a reverse grip, sheathes it and performs a marching step, placing his right arm on his chest.
- Strago strokes his beard and sits down cross-legged.
- Mog puts his weapon away, spins four times by using his wings to hover and hops, raising his hands.
Final Fantasy VII series[]
All characters bar Vincent and Sephiroth perform their victory pose from their game of origin, with several alterations.
- Tifa stretches her arms and back.
- Cloud holds his greatwsord downward, spins it several times then places it on his back.
- Yuffie jumps twice with her thrown weapon, then spins while stumbling partway through.
- Vincent turns away from the camera before looking to the side with his gun held.
- Aerith brushes off her clothes and hair before placing her hand on her chest.
- Sephiroth turns to the side of the camera whilst adjusting his greatsword in a backward position.
- Zack is identical to Cloud's pose, except he holds his greatsword in a upward position.
- Cid slashes his spear before putting his hand on his mouth.
- Cait Sith and his toy moogle jump for joy several times before posing.
- Barret raises his arm and pumps his fist.
- Reno stands with his back turned to the camera and taps his baton on his shoulder, then turns around and points it forward.
- Rude pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose and crosses his arms.
- Kadaj sheathes his weapon behind his back and spreads his arms out.
- Shelke points forward with her right Tek-spear before sheathing both weapons, with her eyes going back from orange to blue.
- Cissnei sends her weapon away, runs her right hand through her hair and crosses her arms in front of her chest.
- Jessie sends her weapon away and pumps her left hand forward.
- Weiss spins his swords in his hands, then sends them away and shrugs.
- Rufus laughs, cocking his head back and putting his left hand on his forehead before resting it on his hip.
- Angeal plants his sword into the ground and takes Buster Sword from his back, holding it in front of himself.
Final Fantasy VIII[]
All characters bar Rinoa have the same victory poses from Final Fantasy VIII, with some alterations.
- Laguna punches the air, jumps up, then raises his machine gun above his head.
- Squall slashes the air twice, then rests his gunblade on his shoulder.
- Zell stretches his legs while standing before pumping his fists followed by two quick punches.
- Irvine raises his gun from his hip and lays it on his shoulder, fixes his hat, and then sets his left foot forward.
- Quistis sends her whip away and stretches her arms out.
- Raijin twirls his weapon above his head thrice and sets it down with his left hand.
- Fujin moves her right hand from her left hip to above her head in a circle, then slashes the air twice.
- Seifer swings his gunblade twice, then holds it with both hands and lowers it in front of his face.
- Selphie jumps up in the air three times and strikes a cutesy pose at the end, shaking a hip while resting her nunchaku on her shoulder.
- Rinoa sends her weapon away and turns around, walking a few steps before she turns back and cheerfully raises her arm with her index finger pointing out.
- Ultimecia turns to her right and raises her right hand over her, lowering it slowly before she turns her head to look at the opponent.
Final Fantasy IX[]
Nearly all previously playable characters have the same victory poses from Final Fantasy IX, with some alterations.
- Vivi twirls his staff in his right hand, before coming to an attention pose.
- Zidane jumps up, does a backflip, jumps up again while raising his left hand and lands, then raises his right hand.
- Steiner places his right foot forward and makes a scooping motion with his sword, holding it in front of himself.
- Eiko hugs her racket close and jumps into the air several times.
- Garnet spins her staff around a few times before putting it behind her back and crossing her legs while standing.
- Kuja lands and turns his head to the left while holding his hand to his face before throwing it to the side.
- Freya stands straight and rests her spear on her shoulder.
- Beatrix sheathes her sword and flips her hair.
- Quina jumps up in celebration twice before setting their fork down.
- Amarant sits down cross-legged, head bowed.
Final Fantasy X series[]
Nearly all previously playable characters have the same victory poses from Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, with some alterations.
- Yuna holds her hands together, then bows.
- Wakka thrusts his right hand in the air, pulls it towards his body with his thumb extended towards himself, before throwing his head back and laughing arrogantly.
- Tidus does a somersault and throws his sword in the air, catches it, then slashes in front of him.
- Seymour does a traditional Yevon prayer by holding his hands out to either side before bringing them into the chest, as though holding a sphere, and bowing.
- Auron rests his blade on the ground and adjusts his glasses.
- Jecht taps himself on the shoulder with his weapon several times before throwing it into the ground and crossing his arms.
- Lulu bends down and dusts her dress with her hand.
- Paine flicks her hair, similarly to her Warrior dressphere victory pose.
- Kimahri raises his spear and then sticks it into the ground.
- Braska bows, holding his left hand to his chest.
Final Fantasy XI[]
- Shantotto raises her arms and looks at the opponents mockingly, then starts laughing.
- Prishe rubs her lip and pumps her right arm.
- Lion tosses her dagger from her right hand to her left and catches it, putting it behind her back.
- Lilisette raises her right arm, does a pirouette and crosses her legs while standing and closing her right eye.
- Aphmau spreads her arms out before putting her hands on her hips.
- Kam'lanaut spins around while swinging his sword, then raises it in front of himself and lowers in a slashing motion.
- Arciela draws her dagger from the sheath and raises it above her head.
- Eald'narche turns around while makes a dismissive gesture with his right arm.
- Iroha bows and rests her left hand on her chest.
- Selh'teus slowly descends while holding his hands to his chest.
Final Fantasy XII series[]
Nearly all previously playable characters have the same victory poses from Final Fantasy XII that correspond to their weapons in this title, with some alterations.
- Vaan spins his sword at his side, throws it into the air, and catches it.
- Penelo spins on her left leg while holding her right arm upwards and the left one to the side, then raises her right arm and left leg before resting her hand on her hip.
- Balthier inspects his gun before pointing forward and aiming.
- Ashe swirls her greatsword in the air and puts in front of her with blade down, holding the hilt with both hands.
- Vayne makes six blades hover behind him as he keeps his left arm behind his back and raises the right one, then he places his hands on his sides.
- Fran holds an arrow in her mouth, the bow in her left hand, before swiping her hair to the back.
- Basch swings his sword on his left before standing with the weapon on right side.
- Gabranth spins his connected blades together over his head before separating them and holding them to his sides.
- Llyud descends to the ground and lowers his spear.
- Reks sheathes his sword and takes a Galbana lily in his hand.
Final Fantasy XIII series[]
Nearly all previously playable characters (bar Serah and Noel) have the same victory poses from Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIII-2, with some alterations.
- Sazh holsters his guns, cups his chin with his right hand and his right elbow with the left.
- Hope twirls his boomerang and sends it away.
- Vanille throws her rod into the air , then catches it and sends it away.
- Snow pauses for a moment, then pumps his fists and enters a fighting stance.
- Lightning twirls her weapon and sends it away.
- Serah twirls her bow above her head, then puts her right hand on her chest and nods.
- Fang twirls her spear, then puts her right hand behind her back.
- Noel tosses the bigger sword into the air, catches it and swings it in a backhanded fashion while putting his right foot forward.
- Caius turns around and swings his sword before looking back over his left shoulder.
- Raines looks at his extended right arm and brings it over to his chest.
- Nabaat sends her weapon away, flicks her hair and rests her left hand on her hip.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
- Y'shtola turns to the left with her right elbow resting on her left arm before she turns her head to the front.
- Yda jumps into the air while pumping her right fist, then crosses her arms.
- Thancred jumps and spins in the air, then drops down in a three-point landing and crosses his arms.
- Papalymo jumps four times while turning around, then raises his arms.
- Alisaie raises her sword above her head, swings it downwards, then raises it again and sends it away, resting her right hand on her hip.
- Alphinaud reads his grimoire while nodding, then puts it away.
- Lyse spins twice on her left foot, then raises her hands and right leg in a fighting stance.
Final Fantasy XV[]
- Noctis sends his sowrd away and dusts his hands, then puts his right foot forward and rests his right hand on his hip.
- Prompto wipes the sweat off his forehead, then crosses his arms.
- Ignis sends his daggers away and pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
- Aranea kicks her spear, twirls it in her right hand and sets the blunt end down.
- Ardyn mockingly leans forward and puts his right hand on his chest, then shrugs.
- Gladiolus sends his greatsword away, then squeezes his right wrist and shakes it.
- Cor sends his katana away and cups his chin with his right hand.
- Lunafreya sets her staff down and bows.
- Iris raises her right hand and waves before folding her arms behind her back.
Final Fantasy Tactics[]
- Ramza turns around, then strikes a pose with his sword.
- Agrias swings her sword and rests the blade on her left palm.
Final Fantasy Type-0[]
- Rem spins around and sends her daggers away.
- King sends his guns away and runs his fingers through his hair.
- Ace swings his right arm backwards and looks at the card deck, then turns his head to the front.
- Cater points her pistol forward, sends it away and pumps her right fist.
- Seven swings her whip, sends it away and rests her right hand on her hip.
- Deuce sends her flute away, dusts her skirt and puts her hands behind her back.
- Cinque with an effort brings her mace in front of her and rests her hands on the pommel.

- Sherlotta shrugs and shakes her head before resting her left hand on her hip.
- Ciaran slashes the air, then brings his sword down.
- Keiss puts his dagger away and puts his hands behind his head.
- Amidatelion bows, putting their right hand on their chest and the left one behind their back.
- Jegran puts his greatsword on his back and looks at his left hand, bringing it above his head.
World of Final Fantasy[]
- Lann does a backflip, while Reynn hops slightly off the ground.
- Enna Kros puts her hands on her hips while shaking her head, then crosses her legs while standing and cups her right elbow with her left hand.
