Abilities menu.

This is the list of abilities in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. Abilities are classified into three categories: action abilities, support abilities, and extra abilities.

  • Action abilities are used for moving and defending. There are abilities that can be used by pressing the action button (Triangle), Right shoulder button, or a combination of the two, and there are abilities that increase mobility of the character.
  • Support abilities support the character and consist mainly of automatic abilities (Auto EX Burst, Auto Chase).
  • Extra abilities are unlocked by Level 25 and can turn the tables of battle. There are also "Disable" abilities, so that if the enemy has the corresponding critical-causing ability, it could have no effect on the player.

Trivia[]

  • Balthier and Fran makes a cameo appearance as tutors in the Abilities Customization menu.
  • If the leader of a party is using an "Exp to ___" ability, their party members will not earn any experience at the end of the battle.
  • Due to a glitch, if Snooze and Lose is used against Warrior of Light, Terra Branford, Squall Leonhart, Shantotto, Laguna Loire or Emperor Mateus with right level and right CPU Strength (these stats randomly occur, so they will not always be the same), the enemy will stop moving until the player gets too close or attacks.
