Displacement is a Red Mage Red Mage ability from Final Fantasy XIV that deals light damage to a single target while moving the Red Mage away from them.

PvE version
Base mechanics
  • Deals unaspected physical damage with a potency of 130 to a single target
  • Rapidly moves the user back 15 yalms from the target
  • Cannot be used if movement is restricted by statuses such as Bind Bind
  • Shares a recast timer with Engagement Engagement

  • Rapidly moves the user back 15 yalms from the target
  • Inflicts Bind Bind for 3 seconds, preventing any movement
  • Target gains Bind Resistance Bind Resistance for 10 seconds when Heavy effect ends, rendering them immune to further Bind effects
  • Cannot be used if movement is restricted by statuses such as Bind

Bind no longer requires Monomachy.
