Dire Dirge (破滅の歌, Hametsu no Uta?, lit. Ruinous Song), also known as Requiem, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. The ability always deals fractional damage to all enemies in all appearances.
A separate Sing ability also known as Requiem appears in the series. Unlike Dire Dirge, the ability focuses specifically on dealing damage to undead enemies.

Requiem is an ability of the Sing command, accessible only by the Bard while equipped with the Lamia Harp.

Dire Dirge is a level 20 ability for the Bard for 490 AP, which deals damage equal to each target's Max HP minus their current HP.
Final Fantasy Dimensions II (Free-to-play)[]
Ruinous Song I - III were a set of abilities available to specific versions of the Medusa and Atomos summons. The abilities dealt fractional non-elemental damage to all enemies, with the damage amount increasing with each signet level upgrade.
The abilities were removed in the premium release of Final Fantasy Dimensions II.
