Diamond (ダイヤモンド, Daiyamondo?) is a recurring item in the Final Fantasy series.

Final Fantasy IX[]

Th Diamond is an item and an Add-on. It teaches the support abilities Body Temp and Distract, and when used as an item, restores HP equal to the amount of Diamonds in the player's inventory x36. While Eiko is equipped with a Diamond, Carbuncle uses the ability Diamond Light granting Vanish on the player party. It is found from the kirkboat in Conde Petie and can be found in the Sea at Dusk Chocograph, bought from Stiltzkin at Bran Bal, and by giving a friendly Garuda a Lapis Lazuli. The Diamond is a limited item and so should not be used as a consumable. It can be used in synthesis to make a Rebirth Ring.

Description

Diamond is an item used to make Diamond Knuckles, Diamond Earring, Diamond Shield, Jeweled Collar, Diamond Ring, Matrimony Band, and Matrimony Ring. It is dropped by Abas, Diamond Quadav, Chukwa, Gancanagh, Mictlantecuhtli, and Minhocao.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings[]

Brilliant gemstone symbolic of the conqueror. The stone itself may conquer those of a weak heart.

Description

Diamond is a high-ranked Rare Gemstone that can be Scavenged from Sparkling Stone on Ivalice. It can be used to craft Galatyn, Zeus Mace, and Nirvana.
