Desert Hag is an enemy from Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Desert Hags are fish-like, and they are common in the area around Aquaria.

Desert Hags are the first enemy encountered able to counterattack. They can easily be killed with the Fire spell, and can counter physical attacks with attacks of their own.
They have two phases. The first phase has them standing with a relaxed disposition, while the second phase has them gaping in shock.

Etymology[]
Sahuagin are fishlike, monstrous humanoids that appear in the Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game.
In the German release, the Desert Hag is called "Schnabel Auge" which means "Beak Eye".
