Desdemona executes Rush several times in succession. The attack is not especially damaging, but will launch Lightning into the air. Staggering Desdemona makes Beat Down a 50% drop.

Strategy

Guarding effectively against Rush increases Desdemona's Stagger Wave. Attacking with Lightning-elemental attacks immediately after successfully guarding will make the battle easier.

Etymology

[view · edit · purge]Desdemona is a character in William Shakespeare's play Othello, a Venetian beauty who enrages and disappoints her father, a senator, when she elopes with Othello, a man several years her senior. When her husband is deployed to Cyprus in the service of the Republic of Venice, Desdemona accompanies him. There, her husband is manipulated by his ensign Iago into believing she is an adulteress and she is murdered by her estranged spouse.
