Deprotega (デプロガ, Depuroga?, lit. Deproga) is a recurring spell in the Final Fantasy series. It is an area-of-effect version of Deprotect which reduces enemies' physical resistance.

Description

Deprotega is a Saboteur ability that deals magic damage to all targets and may apply the Deprotect status. It has an ATB cost of 3. It can be learned by Lightning (stage 7), Vanille (stage 7), and Hope (stage 7).

It is also an enemy ability used by Cid Raines and Penanggalan.

Final Fantasy XIII-2[]

Deprotega is a Saboteur ability that deals magic damage to all targets and may apply the Deprotect status. It has an ATB cost of 3 and a modifier of 0.35.

It can be learned by Serah (role level 25), Black Chocobo (level 70), Chelicerata (level 70), Deathgaze (level 61), Forked Cat (level 70), and Rangda (level 43.

It is also an enemy ability used by Aloeidai, Black Chocobo, Chelicerata, Schrodinger, Valfodr Lv. 70, and Valfodr Lv. 99.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII[]

Deprotega is a debilitating-type ailment ability available to Lightning. It deals magic damage to all enemies and may apply the Deprotect status. It has an ATB cost of 40, Multiplier of 0.20, and a duration of 20.
