Demon Spear (まじんのやり or まじんの槍, Majin no Yari?) , also known as Magic Lance, Demon, and Fiend, is a recurring weapon in the series.

Template:Sideicon Demon Spear is a mid-ranked spear that provides 42 Attack, 60% Accuracy, and 2% Evasion. It can be obtained by buying it for 8,000 gil (GBA/PSP) or 10,000 gil (NES/PSX) at Tropical Island or finding it in the Unknown Cave.

Template:Sideicon Magic Lance is the most powerful spear in the Nintendo DS version of the game, providing 145 Attack and +20 Strength. It can only be obtained after leveling up a Dragoon to Job Level 99 and talking to the Legendary Smith. It can only be equipped by a Dragoon.
