Delay Attack (ディレイアタック, Direi Atakku?) is an ability in Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. It delays the target's next turn.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy X[]

Delay Attack is a skill affecting the specific number of turns within the Act List. It appears within Tidus's section of the Sphere Grid. When successful, it inflicts Delay, moving the opponent's next turn down the Act List moderately. It costs 8 MP to use.

Final Fantasy X-2[]

Delay Attack appears as an ability for the Warrior dressphere. Delay Attack reduces the opponent's ATB gauge moderately, costing 100 AP to learn and 10 MP to use. It can also be used via Lady Luck's Attack Reels by rolling three Swords.

Final Fantasy X-2: Last Mission[]

Delay Attack is an unique ability that any character can use when using the Warrior dressphere as the main dress, it costs 3 MP to use. It deals physical damage and makes the target unable to move or take any other action during its next turn.
