Deep Haizhe is an enemy from Final Fantasy X-2. It uses Achelous's model from Final Fantasy X.

Deep Haizhe is a powerful enemy with decent stats, but becomes a larger threat when in Oversoul due to its repertoire of spells. Having Reflect and Shell is the best way to deal with an Oversoul version, and using Lightning-elemental attacks as well as Gravity-elemental attacks will bring it down quickly.
Its physical attack is nothing to worry about, as a Hi-Potion takes care of all the damage it can do. Generally, Deep Haizhe appear in pairs, occasionally accompanied by a single Haizhe. Alternatively, a single Deep Haizhe may be flanked by two Haizhes.

A Deep Haizhe, the "old man", is captured while planning the Haizhe's revenge on humans for the machina they use, polluting the rivers and endangering the Haizhe. While initially angry about being captured, the Deep Haizhe puts his newfound strength to use during the Clear Aqua Project's assault on the Djose Temple. After beating back the Machine Faction's machina, two Al Bhed summon a larger model, which knocks the Deep Haizhe away and closes on the other Haizhe. The old man returns and uses his finishing move, incapacitating the machina at the cost of his own strength. The Al Bhed commend the Deep Haizhe's bravery, and leave him medicine to restore himself.
After finishing the Deep Haizhe's Fiend Tale, the Clear Aqua Project team may be fought in the Fiend Arena.
