FFVII Debug Room - Bird

Bird Room.

The Bird Room is a room of the Debug Room in Final Fantasy VII. It houses thirteen characters. This room changes the music to The Prelude, and opens with the message: "Welcome to FinalFantasy 7 English Version".

By pressing the Select button, several options will appear that are activated by pressing other buttons.

Flag PS PC Description
Reset Flag Square [SWITCH] Removes all team members and items, resets the clock and enables all options.
Battle Off L1 [PAGE DOWN] Toggles battles.
Reset Flag R1 [PAGE UP] The same action as Square Button.
Set Normal Party L2 [CAMERA] Sets team to Cloud, Barret and Tifa.
Default Name&No Money R2 [TARGET] Resets party names and gil.
Debug Name&Debug Money Removes party names and grants 131071 Gil.
Help menu Select [SWITCH] Brings up the list of options.

Aeris[]

Aeris simply says, "Working Now," then warps to the aftermath of the collapse of the North Crater, with Tifa's dream about Cloud arriving in Midgar.

Barret[]

Barret's options mostly concern Sector 7. Talking to him also changes the music to Tifa's Theme and plays the sound effect when using Big Shot/Mindblow.

Option Description
7th Street Warps to the Beginner's Hall.
Welcome Home Warps to the Sector 7 slums. This option appears to show the Sector 7 slums the morning after the bombing mission, but the characters speak as if AVALANCHE have only just returned. The bar is glitched if the player enters it, with Tifa stuck in a repetitive walking motion and Cloud becoming stuck as he walks forward.
Before Memory Warps to 7th Heaven. This option is glitched as Tifa is standing partly on the elevator, and just says, "I'm going this time," when spoken to, as if the scene is playing out the day after the reactor bombing.
Materia Warps to the room below the bar. If the player returns to the above floor, the scene will immediately skip to the conversation following the flashback about the promise.
Good Morning The same as "Materia."
Before Battle Warps to the Sector 7 pillar after exiting the Train Graveyard.
Cancel Cancels out.
After Memory Warps to the scene following the flashback about the promise.

Tifa[]

Tifa has no options, and simply brings up the party select screen and plays the sound effect when using Healing Wind.

Shinra Soldier[]

The soldier's options, "Last train from Midgar." mostly concern Sector 7 and the train rides. Talking to him also changes the music to "On That Night, Five Years Ago" and plays the sound effect of a train setting off.

Option Description
Cargo A scene not used in the final game, in which Cloud has a breakdown on the train. The game then fades to black and hangs.
Train1 Warps to the first train carriage in which the ID scan takes place, after Jessie shows Cloud the monitor.
Train2 Warps to the second train carriage during the escape.
Train3 Warps to the third train carriage during the escape.
Train4 Warps to the fourth train carriage during the escape.
Monitor Warps to the scene in which Jessie shows Cloud the train route on the monitor.
Station1 Warps to Sector 7 station after the bombing of the reactor.
StationFlashBack Warps to the scene in which Elmyra finds Aeris and Ifalna.
Cancel Cancels out.

Honey Bee Inn Girl[]

The Honey Bee Inn Girl's options, "Honey Bee In," mostly concern the Honey Bee Inn. Talking to her changes the background music to "Oppressed People," and the Healing Wind sound effect will play.

Option Description
First Time Warps to the initial visit to the Inn. Attempting to enter the Inn will cause Aeris to loop her movements, locking up the game.
2nd Same option as "First Time".
3rd Warps to the Inn once Cloud has donned his disguise.
After All Same option as "3rd".
Cancel Cancels out.

Rude[]

Rude's options are sporadic and have a number of results. The music changes each time he is talked to, using "Steal the Tiny Bronco", "The Countdown Begins", "Judgement Day" and "Mog Flies".

Got The Jyro Seemingly does nothing, possibly a flag.
After The Meteo...TIFA Sets party to Tifa, Barret and Red XIII.
After The Meteo...CID Sets party to Cid, Cait Sith and Yuffie.
After The Meteo...CLOUD Sets party to Cloud, Barret and Tifa.
MakoUnderTheSea Seemingly does nothing.
Hp&Mp 1 The party leader's HP and MP drop to 0.
No Money Removes all the player's gil.
MoneyMoneyMoney Gives 365534 gil.
Got The Keystone This option works in tandem with the Cetra's "Altar" option. The player must select "Got The Keystone" before speaking to the Cetra and selecting "Altar," otherwise just performing the latter will send them to the Temple of the Ancients without the Keystone. Done correctly, Tseng will hand over the Keystone and the player can enter the temple.

Dog[]

The dog's options concern Junon and the Underwater Reactor. Talking to it changes the background music to "Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony". Several options leave the player stuck and unable to move.

JUNONDOC1 Warps to Junon Dock, disc 1. The cargo ship is docked.
JUNONDOC2 Warps to Junon Dock, disc 2. The cargo ship is gone.
ROAD1 Warps to the Upper Junon hall with the Save point.
(Cancel) Cancels out.
ROAD3 Warps to the tunnel where the soldiers are practising. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ROAD4 Warps to the tunnel leading to the underwater reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ROAD5 Warps to the second screen of the tunnel leading to the underwater reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ROAD6 Warps to the third screen of the tunnel leading to the underwater reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ROAD7 Warps to the bottom of the first elevator to the reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ELE1 Warps to the elevator leading to the reactor tunnel. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
ELE2 Warps to the elevator leading to Upper Junon.
ROOM Warps to the locker room where Cloud finds the Shinra uniform.

Cat[]

The cat's options mostly concern the second (left) sector in Upper Junon. Also sets music to "Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony". All options except "JUNONL-MIN0" leave the player stuck and unable to move.

JUNONL2 Warps to the path leading to the second sector.
JUNONL3 Warps to the left balcony outside the upper office district.
JUNONL-W Warps to the weapon store.

JUNONL-I2 Warps to the store with the female store hands.
JUNONL-INN Warps to the Inn.
JUNONL-PUB Warps to the pub with soldiers.
JUNONL-MIN0 Warps to the Junon Beginner's Hall.
JUNONL-MIN1 Warps to the barracks with the slacking soldier.
JUNONL-MIN2 Warps to the Shinra Manager's room.

Mr. Dolphin[]

Mr. Dolphin's options concern the first (right) sector in Upper Junon. Also plays "Rufus' Welcoming Ceremony" and plays the sound effect of Mr. Hangman descending in the Ghost Square hotel.

"JUNONR" Cancels out.
JUNONR1 Warps to the first area of Upper Junon near the Materia store. Cloud is in Shinra uniform.
JUNONR2 Warps to just beyond the first sector.
JUNONR3 Warps to the right balcony outside the upper office district.
PARADE Warps to the parade scene. Afterwards, they will be stuck and unable to move in an area just beyond the first sector.
JUNONR-W Warps to the weapon store. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNONR-PUB Warps to the pub with four men at the table. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNONR-I Warps to the Item store. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNONR-M Warps to the Materia store. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNONR-MIN1 Warps to the first floor of the soldier barracks. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNON-MIN2 Warps to the second floor of the soldier barracks. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNON-MIN2 Warps to the third floor of the soldier barracks. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
JUNON-MOVIE Shows the FMV of Junon and the Sister Ray before the parade, then leaves the player stuck and unable to move outside the item store in the first sector.

Sailor[]

The sailor's options concern events surrounding the Submarine. Speaking to him changes the music to "A Secret Sleeping in the Deep Sea" and plays the sound effect of Mr. Dolphin jumping into the water.

"Submarine" (Cancel) Brings up the party select screen.
SubmarineDock Warps to the dock of the red submarine. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
BridgeRed Warps to the bridge of the red submarine. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
BridgeBlue Warps to the bridge of the grey submarine. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SubmarineRed Warps inside the red submarine.
SubmarinBlue Warps inside the grey submarine. The soldiers will not move and cannot be interacted with.
Escape Warps to the escape scene that plays if the player loses the submarine chase.
MiniGame0 Warps to the submarine chase for the Huge Materia.
MiniGame1 Warps to level 1 of the Torpedo Attack minigame at the Gold Saucer.
MiniGame2 Warps to level 2 of the Torpedo Attack minigame at the Gold Saucer.
MiniGame3 Warps to level 3 of the Torpedo Attack minigame at the Gold Saucer.
MiniGame4 Warps to level 4 of the Torpedo Attack minigame at the Gold Saucer.
MiniGame5 Warps to level 5 of the Torpedo Attack minigame at the Gold Saucer.

Cetra[]

The Cetra's options concern the Temple of the Ancients. Speaking to him changes the music to "The Forested Temple".

Page 1 "Temple of the Ancients" (FORMATION) Brings up third page of options.
Temple Warps to the temple entrance.
After Collapse Warps to the entrance to the temple after its destruction.
Altar This option works in tandem with Rude's "Got the Keystone" option. The player must select "Got The Keystone" before speaking to the Cetra and selecting "Altar," otherwise just performing the latter will send them to the Temple of the Ancients without the Keystone. Done correctly, Tseng will hand over the Keystone and the player can enter the temple.
Altar2 Warps to the scene where the Keystone is set in.
Temple of the Ancients Warps to the initial area of the temple after setting the Keystone.
Shop of the Ancients Warps to the room where the player can purchase items from the Cetra.
The Rock Warps to the room with the rolling rocks.
The Hole of the Time Warps to the clock room.
Tirano Warps to the room below the clock room, accessed by being hit by the clock hands.
Treasure Warps to the room below the clock room. The chest cannot be opened.
Chase Warps to the chase in which the player must get the key from the Cetra.
Next Page Brings up second page of options.
Page 2 "Temple of the Ancients2" Warps to the scene where Cloud hands over the Black Materia.
Mateo Warps to the room with the murals.
Sephiros Warps to the scene in which Sephiroth talks about Meteor.
Hole1 Warps to a tunnel blocked by the rocks. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
Hole2 Warps to a tunnel without rocks. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
Boss Warps to the room where Demon's Gate is fought.
Mateo2 Warps to the scene before the fight with the Red Dragon.
Cancel Cancels out.
Page 3 Formation Brings up first page of options.
Ballet Adds Barret to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Tifa Adds Tifa to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Red Adds Red XIII to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Yufi Adds Yuffie to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Ket Adds Cait Sith to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Cid Adds Cid to the team, and brings up first page of options.
Vincent Adds Vincent to the team, and brings up first page of options. His name and menu picture will be shown as Sephiroth.

Costa Del Sol Barmaid[]

The barmaid's options concern Costa del Sol. Speaking to her changes the music to the town's theme and plays the sound effect of money clinking.

Option Description
"Costa del Sol" Cancels out.
Town Warps to the town.
Beach Warps to the beach before meeting Hojo.
Harbor Warps to the harbor; Cloud will be coming off the cargo ship.
Debug Warps to the scene where Rufus arrives. Heidegger will be stuck behind a sailor so the game hangs.

Sephiroth[]

Sephiroth's options, "Mt. Corel", concern Corel. Speaking to him changes the music to Main Theme of Final Fantasy VII and plays the sound effect of Bolt2 being used.

Vally Warps to the rail section just after the reactor.
Up&Down Warps to the climbing area after falling through the railway.
River Warps to the lower section of the bridge area above the river.
Hole Warps inside the hermit's cave.
PiyoPiyo Warps to the scene with the baby birds.
Bridge Warps to the rope bridge.
Railway Warps to the railway where the player can fall through.
Ballet's Memory Warps to Barret's flashback of Shinra attacking Corel.
Cancel Cancels out.
