FFVII Debug Room - Above North

Above North Room.

The Above North Room houses seven characters. There is a Save point here but saving the game may cause the player's file to corrupt. Entering the PHS menu is also not advised.

Entering this room changes the music to "Holding My Thoughts in My Heart" and sets every party member except Cloud's name to blank.

Barret[]

Barret's only option is materia based.

Option Description
Materia max yes The game hangs for several moments, then fills the player's materia inventory with nothing but Bahamut materia.
no Cancels out.

Aeris[]

Aeris' only option concerns changing the party leader.

Option Description
player change cloud Makes Cloud the party leader.
tifa Makes Tifa the party leader.
cid Makes Cid the party leader.
cancel Cancels out.

Yuffie[]

All but one of Yuffie's options concern the Da-Chao mountain. All eight DATIAO options leave the player stuck and unable to move.

Option Description
cancel Cancels out.
turcks union Sets a flag that makes the Turks appear in the DATIAO options.
DATIAO 1 Warps to the first section of the Da-Chao statues.
DATIAO 2 Warps to the first left path.
DATIAO 3 Warps to the farthest left dead end.
DATIAO 4 Warps to the farthest right dead end.
DATIAO 5 Warps to the second left path.
DATIAO 6 Warps to the area where the player finds Don Corneo.
DATIAO 7 Warps to the northernmost dead end.
DATIAO 8 Warps to the fire cave.
5TOWER Warps to the bottom floor of the Pagoda.

Woman[]

The woman's options concern the raid on Midgar and the train chase on Mt. Corel, both on disc 2. Several options will leave the player stuck and unable to move.

BLACKBGH Warps to a black room with no visible exit.
BLACKBGI - Warps to a corner of the current room. TUNNEL 6 - Warps to the area of the Winding Tunnel where the battle with the Turks takes place.
MD8 6 Warps to a back alley during the raid on Midgar. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
MD8 B1 Warps to the upper portion of the first area during the raid on Midgar. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
MD8 B2 Warps to the lower portion of the first area during the raid on Midgar. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
MD8 32 Warps to the base of the stairs leading up to the Sister Ray. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
MD8 BRDG2 Warps to the north exit of the Winding Tunnel, where Proud Clod is fought. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
TUNNEL 4 Warps to an area of the Winding Tunnel where they appear to be stuck behind a closed door. Walking north to the end of the tunnel will allow the player to exit.
TUNNEL 5 Warps to an area of the Winding Tunnel. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.

CANON 1 Warps to the staircase leading up to the Sister Ray. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
CANON 2 Warps to the scene with Hojo atop the Sister Ray, just before the raid on Midgar commences. After the events, the player will be outside Fort Condor. The player can activate the Raid on Midgar glitch from this option.
MTCRL 2 Warps to the Corel Reactor, just before the train departs with the Huge Materia.
ZCOAL 1 Warps to the train chase to claim the Huge Materia. The player cannot do anything if this option is accessed while Cid is not the party leader, however.
ZCOAL 2 Warps to the back of the Shinra train while on the train chase. However, the timer starts at 00:00,and will then cut to the scene with the Makonoids during Cloud's flashback. The player will always crash the train into North Corel, though this is not shown, and will then be in the Inn. Leaving and attempting to enter the town will cause the game to lock up due to a character's movements looping.
ZCOAL 3 Warps to the engine of the Shinra train while on the train chase. The option plays out the same as ZCOAL 2.
4SBWY 22 Warps to the duct leading to the railway tunnel during the raid on Midgar.

Red XIII[]

Red XIII's options concern the Underwater Reactor below Junon. Nearly all the options leave the player stuck and unable to move.

cancel Cancels out.
SPGATE Warps to the gate leading to the underwater tunnel in Junon. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SPIPE 1 Warps to the first area of the tunnel.
SPIPE 2 Warps to the second area of the tunnel, near the door to the reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 1 Warps inside the elevator leading to the reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 2 Warps to the bridge inside the reactor overlooking the submarines. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 8 Warps to the hall inside the reactor with the Save point. Though the player may at first appear to be stuck, moving left or right should allow them to then move freely.
SEMKIN 3 Warps to the main hall of the reactor. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 4 Warps to the bridge overlooking the Huge Materia storage container. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 5 Warps to the scene where the Huge Materia is loaded onto the submarine. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 6 Warps to the submarine dock, after the red submarine has left. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
SEMKIN 7 Warps to the submarine dock, near the gray submarine. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.

Vincent[]

Vincent's options change who is currently in the party.

Cait Sith[]

Cait Sith's options mostly concern the Northern Cave. Nearly all of the options leave the player stuck and unable to move.

Option Description
cancel Cancels out.
LAS2 1 Warps to the second fork in the road where the player decides which characters go which way. The game may crash if the player attempts to leave.
LAS2 2 Warps to the first screen of the swamp area where Movers are fought.
LAS2 3 Warps to the second screen of the swamp area. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
LAS2 4 Warps to the forested area beyond the swamp. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
LAS0 6 Warps to the ledge maze above the initial area where the party splits.
LAS0 7 Warps to the cave accessed through the ledge maze. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
LAS0 8 Warps to the first crossroads where the party splits up. Leaves the player stuck and unable to move.
MOGU 1 Warps to the Mog House minigame. The player will be at the Gold Saucer when it finishes.
