Enemy Intel
Deathwheel is a "mini boss" enemy in Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, in the "Episode INTERmission" DLC. Yuffie and Sonon encounter it in the Advanced Weaponry Testing facility of the Shinra Building in "The Invitation" of "Covert Ops" chapter.
Stats[]
Being a DLC-exclusive enemy, the stats are not listed in the official guide book, and thus are unknown.
Battle[]
Deathwheel is fought in the fifth station of the testing facility. It is weak to elements besides Lightning, which it resists. It is a fast and durable enemy that is hard to hit most of the time with physical attacks. It circles around the battle arena spewing fire and sends missiles with Saturation Attack. It rams into its targets and electrifies itself with Electric Discharge, making mere touching it deal lightning damage.
Strategy[]
Though a well-placed Synergized Art of War can deal heavy damage, its speed means most attacks do not connect. Throw and ninjutsu tuned to Fire Ninjutsu, Ice Ninjutsu, or Wind Ninjutsu will work, though using spells to pressure it may be better. When it rapidly circles Yuffie in GOT Missile, she can use a short ranged Windstorm or Synergized Windstorm. When Deathwheel moves about the arena, Yuffie can use the ranged Windstorm. Sonon can draw it away from targeting Yuffie with Incite. If Sonon has Synergy Materia paired with an offensive Magic Materia, he will use a free spell onto Yuffie's enemy whenever she uses an ATB ability. When pressured, Deathwheel is vulnerable to attack, and can be brought down with physical damage. When it is pressured, Sonon can use Twirling Lunge to greatly increase the stagger gauge.
