Death Dauber is an enemy in Final Fantasy X-2. It uses Killer Bee's model from Final Fantasy X. Though it can put a party member to sleep with its Sleep Needle, it is still of no threat, even in Oversoul. Physical attacks are more than enough to take it down.

When recruited into the party, Death Dauber comes into the party with only Attack being available. In battle, the creature can learn Sleep Needle (inflicts Sleep on an enemy), Poison Needle (inflicts Poison on an enemy), and both SOS Haste and Auto-Haste (learned when put into Haste status both in critical HP and normal HP, respectively). It may be ideal to unlearn SOS Haste and replace it with another auto-ability after learning Auto-Haste as SOS Haste will become redundant.
Fiend Tale[]
In the Fiend Tale endings, a notable Death Dauber named Buzzer was bullied in both life and death, and desires to become stronger. In time, Buzzer realizes he needs courage and faces his bullies, an Iron Giant and a Hrimthurs. Despite losing to them, Buzzer wins the respect of a boy who faces his own bullies soon after.

Its Japanese name translates to Bite Wasp. Mud daubers are a group of wasps that build their nests out of mud.
