Darts is a minigame in Final Fantasy VII Remake, played in Seventh Heaven by Cloud Strife during Chapter 3, "Home Sweet Slum," on the dart board in the bar.
How to play[]
The objective is to reduce the points score to exactly zero in as few dart throws as possible. Three darts are thrown per round, after which the darts reset. The game ends either when the score reaches 0, or less than 0; if it is less than 0, the result is a failure.
Darts are thrown by pressing . The target reticule on-screen will widen and shrink periodically, and darts thrown are most accurate when the reticule is the smallest. This means it is best to hover over the area the player wishes to hit, and throw the dart once the reticule is the smallest for the most accurate shot. There is a time limit the player must not exceed, but the timing is generous.
A bullseye in the center will net 50 points. If it is possible to win the game with the next dart throw, the area of the dartboard that can result in a win will be highlighted.
Leaderboard[]
A leaderboard of people from the Sector 7 Slums who have participated in darts is found by the dart board. The participant with the highest score is Wedge, who has beaten the game with eight darts.
Participant | Darts thrown |
---|---|
Wedge | 8 |
Tifa | 9 |
Jessie | 9 |
Johnny | 10 |
Marle | 10 |
Barret | 10 |
Finn | 10 |
Biggs | 12 |
Nellie | 13 |
Rewards[]
Trophy: Heavenly Dart Player | |
---|---|
Beat the game with less than 8 darts. |
Reaching the top of the leaderboard, done by finishing in seven or fewer moves earns the trophy Heavenly Dart Player, as well as a Luck Up Materia (Wedge will gift it later).
A good way to achieve this is to aim to Triple-20 to score 60 points per throw. Alternatively, players can aim to score a bullseye on many early hits, making the remaining hits easier.
