The Dark Wolf is an enemy in the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary releases of Final Fantasy. It is found in the deepest levels (B21 onwards) of the Whisperwind Cove, specifically in the levels resembling the Cavern of Earth and Cavern of Ice, as well as the floating continent. It may also appear in the Labyrinth of Time. They often appear in groups, and may appear alongside the Black Goblin, Catoblepas, or Elm Gigas. Like its predecessors, the Dark Wolf is not that powerful despite its high Agility, though its attacks may inflict Poison. A strong multi-targeted spell wipes out an entire group of them.
