Curse, as seen in Final Fantasy IX.
Makes the enemy weak against some elemental property.
Final Fantasy IX description
Curse (カーズ, Kāzu? or 呪い, Noroi?) is a recurring spell that usually inflicts the status ailment of the same name, though sometimes it may inflict a whole host of status ailments. It is often made available to player characters and enemies alike.
The word "curse" is transliterated into Japanese as カース (Kāsu?), as it is named in Final Fantasy Dimensions. Therefore an apt literal translation of カーズ (Kāzu?) would be "curze".

Etymology[]
curse (also called an imprecation, malediction, execration, malison, anathema, or commination) is any expressed wish that some form of adversity or misfortune will befall or attach to some other entity: one or more persons, a place, or an object. In particular, "curse" may refer to such a wish or pronouncement made effective by a supernatural or spiritual power, such as a god or gods, a spirit, or a natural force, or else as a kind of spell by magic or witchcraft; in the latter sense, a curse can also be called a hex or a jinx.
