Cure is a magic spell in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It is provided by Healing Materia, and is the basic curative spell below Cura and Curaga, with the smallest heal but lowest MP cost and quickest cast time.

Cure costs 4 MP to cast and can be used by party members with level 1 healing materia. It is a potent heal which can improve depending on the Magic attribute of the caster, meaning it can heal for good amounts even later in the game. Early on, however, its MP cost restricts party members from using it too frequently compared to items.
When Cura is unlocked, Cura is a more potent heal but one with a higher MP cost and longer cast time. It is more ATB-efficient to cast Cura later on, but players may prefer to cast Cure still depending on MP. This remains true also with Curaga, although Curaga's much longer cast time is even more prohibitive. Alternatives to Cure include Chakra and Pray.
When healing materia is paired with Auto-Cast Materia, the party member when not controlled will cast Cure automatically. This can be useful on a party member with a higher Magic attribute who the player does not control frequently. Later on, however, it will prove an inefficient use of materia slots compared to other more valuable pairings.
The Magnify Materia allows Cure to be cast on the entire party. This can be helpful for keeping the party healthy, but will be a less potent heal than Cura or Curaga would due to the reduction that magnify provides to its heals. Cure can be improved with
Magic Focus Materia in its output, which may be useful early on but will be a weaker use of the materia compared to other choices.
