The Cuphgel, also known as the Cafjel, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. It is found in the desert on the outer ring of the Floating Continent. In the NES version, they are found on the plains and grassland on the Floating Continent's northwestern edge. They are relatively powerful for a party of less than level 10, but otherwise are not a huge threat, as they possess no special abilities. A well-trained party with up-to-date equipment will be able to defeat it with physical attacks easily, while withstanding its strong physical attacks.
