Crystelle, also called Thing in fan translations, is an enemy in Final Fantasy V. It is found in the Inner Sanctum area of the final dungeon. It has barely any health, but high defenses that can still make it annoying to deal with.

Battle[]
Crystelle has high Evasion and absorbs elemental spells. Crystelle inflicts critical damage, and uses Reverse Polarity to switch the party between the front and back row. It is susceptible to Level 2 Old.
Strategy[]
Some attacks, such as Goblin Punch, Zeninage, Aim and Comet, may defeat it easily. Three hits of the Excalipoor can also defeat it, as it never misses. Casting Bio will kill it almost instantly from sap damage. Since the Crystelle uses Mighty Guard when released, it might be advised to catch one. Doing this requires using the Excalipoor twice while having the Kornago Gourd equipped.
